Dontborrowtroublecc.org The Cuyahoga County Treasurer's Office has launched a Foreclosure Prevention Program. United Way’s 2-1-1/First Call For Help service is an essential piece of the Foreclosure Prevention Program. Any borrower who has their primary residence in Cuyahoga County, who wants to stay in their home and who has the means to maintain a payment plan, is eligible to receive counseling and advice through the Foreclosure Prevention Program. These borrowers are asked to dial to 211 or 216-436-2000 to be referred to the appropriate counseling agency. 211/First Call For Help has received over 2,000 requests for help since the program began.
